Soudal Firecement HT° is a 1-component ready to use sealing paste which cures to form a hard joint which withstand temperatures of up to 1500°C.

USES
Soudal Firecement HT° is suitable for sealing of joints and openings where high temperatures are possible. Applications include sealing of stoves, ovens, fireplaces and heat retardant sealing at existing constructions.
APPLICATION
Apply with spatula, filling knife or sealing gun. Before curing, Firecement HT° can be removed with water from substrates and tools. Finish with a spatula or putty knife. Repair with the same material.
- A slight warming of the heating installation during 12 hours after application prevents bubble-forming and improves structure.
- With prolonged exposure to very high temperatures, the colour may lighten.
- Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.
- On joints between materials with different expansion coefficient, cracks can occur when temperature increases.
